This is the first changelog post for FrontSail AI!

We are planning to publish these monthly, and we’ll do our best to keep them concise and straight to the point. The changelog posts will highlight significant updates in the product or the platform.

With that being said, here are the highlights for January 2026:

  • Launch of the FrontSail AI Portal
  • Google Calendar integration
  • Call summaries and categorization
  • Support for out-of-business-hours setup

That was our progress in the first four weeks of 2026. Much more to come, stay tuned!

Portal Launch

We launched our portal, https://app.frontsail.ai/, at the beginning of January 2026!

It is a web platform that allows you to fully control your AI phone receptionist: to set up, run, monitor and adjust its behaviour. This includes (but not limited to):

  • a 5-minute onboarding wizard to set up your agent
  • a dashboard page with metrics and stats on agent performance
  • a Knowledge Base to manage your agent’s knowledge: what it knows about your business, questions it should answer and questions it should not answer
  • Call History and Messages: view recent calls, review each call in detail (replay call recordings + read call transcriptions), and view messages and callback requests recorded by the agent
  • configure your agent: change phone settings such as transfer numbers, configure activity hours (e.g. the agent handles calls during out-of-business hours only), adjust its behaviour (voice, tone, greeting, custom instructions, etc.)

Google Calendar Integration

Based on early feedback, we integrated Google Calendar directly into the agent. Other integrations are coming. If you have a specific one in mind, let us know at hello@frontsail.ai.

If you use Google Calendar to manage appointments, your FrontSail AI phone receptionist will be able to book them directly in your calendar.

Call Summaries and Categorization

To make it easier to find the call you are looking for, the Portal shows additional insights for each call: its category, a summary and additional insights displayed as tags (e.g. out-of-business-hours calls, urgent calls, etc).

These are also used to build fine-grained stats on customer calls, and to provide you with deeper insights into customer needs and trends.

Support of Out-of-Business-Hours Setup

Early adopters asked for a low-risk option to integrate the FrontSail AI phone receptionist into their phone system.

We added the option to disable the agent during your business hours. When enabled, all phone calls will be passed to your office phone as usual. The agent will step in and process the calls only outside business hours.
